His second concept, El Burrito, will take over the former Taco John’s space. It will be similar to other build-your-own burrito restaurants and is expected to open in March next year.

Downtown boutique Veza is planning to close this fall. The store at 330 S. Phillips Ave. was acquired by Ondrea Stachel about three years ago. It was founded as TH Grey, an online venture, in 2016, expanding into a storefront the following year. “There isn’t enough traffic to sustain” the business, Stachel said. Gift cards will be valid until Oct. 31.

American Bank & Trust has started work on new branch in Tea. The building at Gateway Lane and Heritage Parkway will replace a branch acquired when the bank added Valley Exchange Bank in a merger last year. The new location is expected to open next summer or fall.

Furniture and home decor store EllyO Home is closing sometime in October. Owner Ellyse Carter, who will continue to do staging for homes on the market, expanded into retail in 2017. The store at 1908 W. 42nd St. is open from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday and by appointment.

Central Dakota Perk in Tea is closed until the owners can find a new location for the coffee kiosk. It opened in a parking lot three years ago, but the site is no longer available. The Harrisburg location remains open, and gift cards can be used there until a Tea site reopens.
