Furniture and home decor store EllyO Home is closing.

Owner Ellyse Carter has had the business at 1908 W. 42nd St. since 2017. It has been in the current location since 2021.

Olsen said in a social media post that she’s closing the retail location sometime in October to focus on home staging and have more personal time.

“I can’t spread myself too thin! With our staging business continuing to get more and more busy, right along with my toddler getting more and more busy, I need to eliminate something in order to have more family time,” she said.

The store is offering its remaining inventory at sale prices, including holiday decor.

It’s open from noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays and by appointment other times. A final day in business hasn’t been set.
