Monk’s Ale House has added two $10 options for lunch. Get a specialty or three-topping pizza or try the pick-two combo with a choice of select half-salads, half-sandwiches or soup of the day. The specials are good from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.

The featured entree for December at R Wine Bar & Kitchen is Bayou Boil Pasta. Saturday brunch features are Breakfast Lasagna with layers of pasta, bacon, ham, sausage and peppers, topped with a sunny-side-up egg; and The Elvis Sandwich with gluten-free bread, peanut butter, jelly and banana.

The burger of the month at the Alibi Bar & Grill is a returning favorite. The Luke Burger features a one-third-pound patty topped with Swiss cheese, and an onion ring that’s filled with shaved prime rib and drizzled with a sweet-and-spicy chile garlic sauce. It comes with a choice of side for $14.

Here are the featured items for December at Totally Rad Eats in Fernson Downtown. And back for the season: the Snow Eater beer from Fernson Brewing Co.

The burger of the month at Big Sioux Burger is Cranny Hammy. A cornbread bun is topped with candied pecan and cranberry cream cheese, a smash patty, peppered ham and jalapeno cranberry chutney.

Next door at sister restaurant Dahlia Kitchen + Bar, the featured taco for December is Blackened Chicken. Two grilled white corn tortillas are filled with blackened chicken, dirty rice, pineapple salsa and fresh cilantro.

The Sweet Pepper Lucy is the sandwich of the month at Crooked Pint Ale House. It’s a pepper jack-stuffed burger topped with habanero jack cheese, fried jalapenos, haystack onions and a spicy plum sauce. The dine-in-only special comes with a choice of side for $12.

The featured pizza of the month at Waddy’s Bar & Grill in Hudson is Prime Dip. The crust is topped with a thin layer of horseradish sauce, shaved prime rib and cheese, with a side of au jus.

Holiday doughnuts have arrived at Yonutz: Candy Cane, Hot Chocolate Marshmallow, Oreo Christmas Tree, Vanilla Santa, Chocolate Rudolph and Buttercream Christmas Cheer. The bakery also is featuring Peppermint Smashed Milkshakes.

The latest pop-up bundlet flavor at Nothing Bundt Cakes is Coconut Cream Snowflake. It will be available through Dec. 14, or while supplies last.

A Homestead Brew’s beer branding has been rescheduled for Saturday because of last weekend’s snowstorm. The brewery east of Sioux Falls will be open from 2 to 9 p.m. Change in the food truck: Double D BBQ will be serving food from 5 to 8 p.m.
Gist Wine Shop is partnering with Rose and Eugene Presents and Hi-Fi Hair for an event Saturday at Nordic Hall, 218 W. 13th St. A Very Vino Christmas will feature five curated stations with sparkling, white, rose and red wines paired with vintage-inspired holiday bites from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $45 in advance or $55 at the door if any remain.
