Scandinavian Designs is closing its Sioux Falls furniture store.

The national retailer opened in 2019 at 4401 W. Empire Place in the former Toys R Us building on the campus of The Empire Mall.

A going-out-of-business sale has started, advertising 40 percent off most merchandise. The store is expected to stay open for four to six weeks, depending on the stock of inventory.

Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday through Monday. The store is closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
