The Phillips Avenue Diner has created a Sunset Specials menu with $12 entrees that’s available from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday. Also enjoy half-priced beer and mimosas.

Sister restaurant TapHouse 41 has a new $11 lunch combo menu that’s served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. weekdays.

Enjoy pro football season with half-price bone-in wings at Fat Shack on Sundays and Mondays through Feb. 8.

The Tavern Grill has several new menu items along with new cocktails, mocktails and dirty sodas. Starters added to the menu include Cheesy Garlic Loaf, Crab-Stuffed Portabella, Wagyu Asparagus Spears and Tavern Wings. For Italian flavors, there’s an Italian Carne pizza with salami, Italian sausage and prosciutto; the Grilled Italian sandwich with prosciutto, salami and pepperoni; Chicken Saltimbocca, which is battered chicken with a five-cheese blend, asparagus and mashed potatoes topped with a mushroom sauce and crispy prosciutto; and Lemon Chicken Pasta. Also new: Farmhouse Salad; Juicy Lucy, which is a cheese-stuffed patty topped with pickled onion strings and lettuce; and an 18-ounce ribeye that’s served with herb butter, mashed potatoes and asparagus. New desserts are Apple Cinnamon Cobbler, Brownie Sundae and Creme Brulee.

Bread & Circus Sandwich Kitchen has several new seasonal menu items. Enjoy falafel with apricot amba — a pickled sauce — arugula, pickled onions and feta as a dish, sandwich or salad. There are new Gumbo and Almost Roast Beef sandwiches, tonkatsu ramen, dan dan noodles, walleye cakes and a fall salad with local butter lettuce, pomegranate, green apple, aged goat cheese, pumpkin seeds and green goddess dressing. New hours until the new year are 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. every other day.

MacKenzie River Pizza, Grill & Pub has a new seasonal Foodie Fare menu. Offerings include Elote Corn Dip served with blue tortilla chips, Boom Boom Shrimp, Chicken Pot Pie and Ancho-Crusted Rib Basket.

Monks Ale House has added desserts to the menu: raspberry churro cheesecake, a 1919 Root Beer float and a warm chocolate chip “pizookie” with vanilla ice cream.

Participating locations of Cinnabon have a new limited-time flavor: Apple Crumble Bon. The roll is layered with warm diced apples, a drizzle of caramel sauce and streusel crumble topping.

Make your own chai tea at home with Coffea Roasterie’s new bottled chai concentrate. Just add milk. It’s available at all cafes.

The taco of the month at Dahlia Kitchen + Bar is Forest & Field. The veggie tacos are filled with cumin-seasoned portobello, carrot, salsa verde, white onion, avocado and queso fresco.

At neighboring sister restaurant Big Sioux Burger, the burger of the month is a patty topped with roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, cranberry relish and brown gravy on white bread.
Keeping with the turkey theme, the burger of the month at Crooked Pint Ale House is the traditional Cornucopia Lucy. The patty is stuffed with American cheese and topped with turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy and bourbon cranberries.

And The Gobbler at Arby’s is a toasted sub roll loaded with deep-fried turkey, stuffing, cranberry spread, mayo, Swiss cheese and crispy onion strings. There’s also a club sandwich with deep-fried turkey.

Featured items this month at R Wine Bar & Kitchen are butternut squash ravioli, which also is offered in a gluten-free version, banana cheesecake and pumpkin creme brulee.

The newest limited-time offering at Panda Express is Crispy Sesame Shrimp & Beef. It also includes string beans and peppers in a sesame sauce.

Fans of jalapeno poppers might enjoy this limited-time pizza at Pizza Ranch. Da Big Popper is topped with cream cheese, Italian sausage, jalapenos and sweet peppadew peppers, finished with a honey hot sauce drizzle.

Featured drinks for November at The Breaks Coffee Roasting Co. are Wakȟályapi Čík’ala, or Little Coffee, and Fizzy Bizzness. The first drink is in honor of Native American Heritage Month. It’s a chocolate and cinnamon-dusted cappuccino with espresso whip cream. Fizzy Bizzness is described as creamy, citrus, spiced and fizzy, of course. It’s served iced with the option of adding espresso.

Casa del Rey’s margarita of the month is the El Rey Turkey. It’s a blend of apple cider, pear juice, gold tequila and orange liqueur, finished with a cinnamon-sugar rim and garnished with a cinnamon stick and lime.

Hook & Ladder Kitchen + Bar has a new Monday special: kids eat free from 4 to 9 p.m. Meal choices include mac-and-cheese, one-topping personal pizza, grilled cheese with fries or chicken tenders with fries.

Glacial Lakes Distillery & Brewhouse is celebrating Harry Potter Day from 5 p.m. to midnight Friday, Nov. 14, with special drinks for everyone and discounts for those with cloaks and wands.

The South Dakota Chapter of Mrs. Roper Romp is hosting its first bar crawl Saturday in downtown Sioux Falls. Participants are encouraged to wear a caftan or ’70s outfit and chunky jewelry and embody the bold spirit of the TV character from “Three’s Company.” The crawl starts at Wileys at 1:30, moving to Verde Lounge in the Holiday Inn City Centre, The Orion Pub and wrapping up at PAve.

Changes in hours, service
- The final day of the season for Sweet Scoops Ice Cream & Bakery in Dell Rapids is Friday. There will be specials on ice cream treats and baked goods. Hours will be 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
