June 13, 2024
Wagoo Burger is having a breakfast pizza special this weekend. The restaurant that serves out of the kitchen at Fernson Downtown will offer three flatbreads The Herb, The Traditional and The Benedict.

Roundhouse Brew Pub has a new featured menu.

Here are the new summer specials for the Phillips Avenue Diner.

We’re a little late in sharing this month’s $5 dinner specials on Wednesday nights at the Sioux Falls Food Co+op, but there are still two offerings to try – both with vegan options.

Here are the weekly featured ice cream flavors for June at Stensland Family Farms.

For a cheap treat on Thursdays this month, stop by Red Robin Gourmet Burgers for a $4 vanilla, chocolate or strawberry milkshake.

Ice cream is back in the freezer at The Boozy Bakery in JJ’s Wine, Spirits & Cigars. There are boozy and nonboozy options that change every week. New treats hit the shelves every Wednesday. Flavors this week are lemon poppyseed cookie, Basic B*tch with Baily’s Irish Cream and Screw That with Skrewball Whiskey.

Across the parking lot from JJ’s at JJ’s Axes & Ales, the team is celebrating renovations to give the game room more of a “south Sioux Falls dive bar” feel. Through Sunday, all 16-ounce domestic beers are $3, and all tap craft beers are $2 off.

Enjoy cupcakes and wine? Ever thought of having them together? Oh My Cupcakes is hosting Sips & Sweets, a cupcake and wine pairing, June 21. For $50, you’ll enjoy four cupcakes paired with four wines. Bottles of wine will be available for purchase to take home at the end of the night. The event runs from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the East 10th Street location. Reservations are required, and tickets can be purchased here.

New summer flavors at Oh My Cupcakes are Lemonberry Sunrise and Kitchen Sink with chocolate cake, peanut butter filling and cookie dough buttercream. June-only flavors are the new Strawberry Lemonade, which comes in a gluten-friendly version, and Triple Berry Delight, which is available as a cupcake or as a special order cake.

And for a one-day-only offering for Father’s Day, the bakery is selling the Honey Jalapeno Cornbread Cupcake on Saturday. Pre-orders also are available.

Dads eat for free on Father’s Day this Sunday at Sickies Garage Burgers & Brews. The offer is good for a free entree with the purchase of another one of equal or greater value up to $16.

In addition to embracing Argentinian and Italian food, Tarquin Argentinian Restaurant loves soccer, opera and the tango. For all the soccer players in town for the U.S. Youth Soccer Midwest Presidents Cup, the restaurant is serving Lionel Messi’s favorite foods Friday and Saturday: Milanesa Napolitana, the Buenos Aires Burger, spaghetti with meatballs, and asado, a meat platter that serves two or three people.

Tarquin at Cliff and Benson also is having a special Juneteenth Brunch on Wednesday. The $23 buffet will be served from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and include items such as seafood, pasta dishes, shepherd’s pie, eggs and hash browns.
Dunn Brothers has tweaked the popular “dirty soda” trend by blending “classic soda flavors with creamy coffee and fruity elements.” The new Dunn Dirty lineup includes three drinks: The Dunn Dirty with Pepsi, nitro cold brew, salted caramel and whip; Dr’d Up with Dr Pepper, coconut milk and tropical coconut flavors; and Wild Dew’d with Mountain Dew, coconut milk and mango, strawberry and peach flavors.

Caribou Coffee has introduced a permanent iced beverage line featuring 11 options with fruit-forward flavors. Options include caffeine-free Fruit Shakers in strawberry, peach and berry punch. The fruit is shaken with coconut milk and served over ice. Energy Drinks come in blue raspberry, strawberry pineapple, peach mango and pomegranate acai flavors. Each can be customized with a lemonade base.
