New home, rural retreat top million-dollar mark in weekly report

Two homes topped the million-dollar mark for residential sales for the week of Dec. 12.

The No. 1 sale is a new home on a half-acre lot in the Mystic Heights neighborhood in east Sioux Falls that sold for $1.3 million. It was built by 1J Homes. With 4,800 square feet, it has five bedrooms and five bathrooms. Features include an indoor sport court.

The No. 2 home, which sold for $1.25 million, was built in 2017 in a rural neighborhood northeast of Sioux Falls. It’s now called The Lookout from the owners of the nearby Laurel Ridge Barn and is being used for events and accommodations. The home has six bedrooms and five bathrooms.
