Ziggi’s Coffee is moving ahead with construction of its first location in Sioux Falls.

The national coffee shop will open at 4410 E. 57th St. It’s being franchised locally by Michael and Liz Minor.

“We chose this location because Sioux Falls was in need of another coffee stop with excellent menu items and speedy, friendly customer service,” Michael Minor said in a statement.

“We live near our new location and have been able to see this part of town grow,” he said. “We are excited to bring the taste of Ziggi’s to the community.”

Ziggi’s offers a menu that goes beyond traditional coffee and tea drinks, including Italian sodas, energy infusions and fruit smoothies. The food menu includes breakfast sandwiches and burritos, paninis and pastries.

The hope is to open in late February or early March.
