Valentino’s is back open in Sioux Falls after nearly eight years.

The new concept for the Italian restaurant is a carryout and delivery model. The buffet is gone, but there’s a broad menu of pizzas, pastas — including lasagna — salads, a couple of toasted sandwiches, bread twists and desserts.

The restaurant is in a retail center at 2904 S. Ellis Road.

It’s franchised by Jenny Pals, whose family enjoyed the restaurant in Sioux Falls years ago and rediscovered the new to-go concept in Nebraska while traveling.

The new Sioux Falls location also offers an express lunch from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., featuring combinations of pizza, salad, pasta and lasagna.

A small salad bar is set up as an option for lunch, but it won’t be a full buffet.

There also are some retail items, including sauce by the jar and frozen pizzas.

Pals could do a second location in the market at some point.

Hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
