Restaurant Roundup: Peroni & Pizza, slider flights, Pizza Hunt

Nunzios is having a Peroni & Pizza Night from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Enjoy all-you-can eat pizza and all-you-can drink Peroni, along with a salad, for $50. Along with some of Nunzios’ original pizzas, guests will get a taste of what the team is developing for the spring menu. The event is limited to 50 people. Get tickets here.

This month’s special at The Dive is slider flights. Choose three of the restaurant’s signature burgers, and get them as minis served with house-cut fries.

It’s time for Sunny’s Pizzeria’s annual Pizza Hunt, which owner Jon Oppold started six years ago shortly after the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. At 5:30 p.m. every day this month, Oppold will post a photo clue for a hidden wooden token. Each token can be redeemed for a free medium pizza at the restaurant.

New lunch and dinner spring feature menus have arrived at 22Ten Kitchen Cocktails.


Both locations of The Attic Bar & Grill have a new Bill of Fare menu for spring. Items include a Spring Cobb Salad, Lettuce Wraps with seasoned ground pork and Butter Crumb Walleye served with street corn risotto, grilled asparagus and chimichurri sauce.

Baking up a Storm has three new breakfast items: yogurt parfaits with low-fat Greek yogurt, granola and fruit; overnight oats in peanut butter banana, tropical mango coconut and mixed berry; and build-your-own protein breakfast bowls. Start with a base of hash browns, sweet potato or a five-grain blend, and load it with five toppings like sausage, bacon, ham and fresh veggies.

Here are the featured food and drink menus for the month at Tailgators Grill & Bar in Brandon.


BBQ Chicken is the featured pizza of the month at the east-side location of WoodGrain Brewing Co. It’s topped with barbecue sauce, mozzarella, chicken, red onion, bacon, cheddar cheese and slaw, with a drizzle of barbecue sauce.

Chicken Caesar is the special pizza for April at Invictus Pizza Kitchen.

Here’s the menu for this month’s $5 community dinners on Wednesdays at the Sioux Falls Food Co+op. Serving hours are 4 to 7 p.m.

April specials have been posted for My Place Cafe in Montrose.

Fans of “KPop Demon Hunters” can enjoy two new meals for adults at McDonald’s. Both feature flavors that are available at McDonald’s restaurants in South Korea. The Saja Boys breakfast meal is a Spicy Saja Muffin, hash browns and a soda. The Huntrix meal for lunch and dinner is Ramyeon McShaker fries, 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, Demon and Hunter sauces and a soda. Both come with photo cards.

New drinks and returning favorite Horchata Chai are on the featured drink menu for April at Josiah’s Coffeehouse, Cafe & Bakery.

Sweet Amber Lynn’s, which sells novelty, retro and all kinds of candy and Lotus energy drinks, is featuring a “Peeps” Lotus menu through Saturday. Offerings include Cotton Candy Peep, Sweet Peep, Me & My Peeps and Peepsicle.

Sonic Drive-In has three new refreshers that are available as sparkling or still: Strawberry Passion Fruit, Berry Citrus and Mango Peach.

Events
The Only One Bar & Grill in Lennox is hosting its traditional Shoot the Minnow, starting at noon Friday. Get a live minnow in your choice of a shot and a T-shirt to commemorate your “bravery” for $20. The Main Street bar started the event in 2007 and also offers it on Thanksgiving Eve.

While we’ve shared news about lots of Easter buffets the past two weeks, here’s one that just popped up. Dahlia Kitchen + Bar is serving a buffet from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. Reservations are available.


The Barrel House will be serving breakfast Saturday as part of its raffle of bottles of bourbon, including allocated ones. Doors open at 9 a.m. Everyone in the door before 10 a.m. gets one raffle ticket. Earn additional tickets throughout the morning by buying food, an alcoholic or THC drink, or a qualifying bottle of bourbon. Drawings begin at 10:30 a.m. There also will be raffles to support Hungry Hearts.

To introduce the new spring drink menu, Kingbird Coffee in Brandon is having a Flight Night from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday. Get a flight with four of the five new drinks for $15.

Changes in hours, service
- The Good Earth Farm near Lennox is postponing Saturday’s Easter egg hunt and pizza because of the weather. A rescheduled date hasn’t been set. “A special shoutout to Dacotah Bank and Karen Lechtenberg for stuffing 1000s of eggs,” the farm posted on social media. “We won’t let them go to waste.”
- New hours start Saturday at Brioux Falls: 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. weekdays, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
- Spring hours have arrived at Bread & Circus Sandwich Kitchen: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
- BlackFork Farms Tasting Room now opens a half-hour earlier. Hours are 3:30 to 10 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday, and 3:30 to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
- Good NAtured reopened Tuesday in its new home at 2501 W. 10th St. Until construction is complete for food sales, it’s serving nonalcoholic canned and bottled drinks and bagged snacks. Hours are 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
- Oppa Chicken is closed through May 5.
- The B&G Milkyway on West 12th Street opened Wednesday. That leaves Harrisburg, which is scheduled to open April 11 under new ownership.
