Pho Thai opens east-side restaurant

Dec. 16, 2025

East-siders now have their own Pho Thai restaurant.

The third location in Sioux Falls opened Monday in the former Denny’s building at 4001 E. 10th St. The original Pho Thai opened in 2019 in Shriver Square at 11th Street and Phillips Avenue, followed by the west-side restaurant in June 2024 on 34th Street between Louise and Shirley avenues.

Diners will find the same menu of Thai, Vietnamese and Chinese dishes — minus the sushi that’s available only downtown.

Vietnamese offerings include barbecue ribs and a variety of noodle dishes.

Thai favorites include pineapple fried rice and pad Thai.

There are appetizers, curries and noodle soups.

The main dining room is filled with booths, mostly for two or four diners.

A second dining room has booths and tables for larger groups.

The decor has been updated, the exterior got a fresh look and the parking lot has been repaved.

Hours are 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Online ordering is being set up.
