There’s a new option for fast-casual Asian cuisine in Sioux Falls.

Asian Cuisine Express has opened at 1420 W. 41st St., which was a Taco John’s for decades.

The restaurant also has a location in South Sioux City.

The Sioux Falls location has a drive-thru and counter service, with a menu of classic Asian entrees, appetizers, rice, lo mein and soups.

Everything is sold as an individual serving, allowing customers to create combination plates or get a standalone entree.

Owner Cong Lin said that original plans to include sushi are on hold because of limited kitchen space.

“We may add it in the future, but for now, it’s not part of the menu.”

Hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
