Minervas marks Downtown Restaurant Week with 2 three-course meals

April 2, 2025

This paid piece is sponsored by Vanguard Hospitality.

Discover culinary talent throughout downtown Sioux Falls during the upcoming Downtown Restaurant Week, which includes two three-course meals at Minervas.

The features run April 3-17.

At Minervas, enjoy your choice of two appetizers — avocado croissant toast or crispy salmon bites — followed by your choice of entrees.

There’s the 48-hour short rib, to start.

“It’s been slow braised for 48 hours in a sous vide machine with French-style aligot potatoes, mushroom confit and honey-glazed carrots,” executive chef Jordan Klein said.

The other option is a citrus striped bass.

“We’re trying to go the route of humanely farmed products, and this Pacifico striped bass we’re getting in from one of our local vendors is allowing us to play with this product and use it for future menu development,” Klein said.

Dessert selections include a Japanese-style creme brûlée French toast or a New York-style jumbo macaron.
