Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is coming to Sioux Falls.

The Kansas-based restaurant chain plans to open at Dawley Farm Village, not far from where Wendy’s also is under construction along Highline Place.

Freddy’s menu includes includes steak burgers, chicken sandwiches and Vienna Beef hot dogs, along with frozen custard with a variety of specialty sundaes and Concrete mixers.

The next-closest location to Sioux Falls is in Omaha.

The plan is to open at Dawley Farm Village late this fall, according to a company spokesperson.

“We love national tenants whose first location is at Dawley,” said Raquel Blount of Lloyd Cos. who represents the development.

“It’s a good, diverse product mix and will add more options for the east side. With our new offices and apartments and all the rest of development going on, we think they will help service the growing area.”
