Silverstar Car Wash is expanding in southwest Sioux Falls.

The car wash is planning a location on the northeast corner of 41st Street and Ellis Road, bringing it to 10 Sioux Falls locations.

Silverstar was drawn to the area because it’s one of the most rapidly growing parts of the city, co-owner Bryan Slama said.

“As with many of our other locations, we’ve listened to the customer feedback asking us to bring a location to this neighborhood,” he said.

“Seeing the development at this intersection with Fareway, Dollar Tree and some other major retailers, we feel this will be another great, convenient location for our customers to use on their way home from work or the grocery store.”

This location will be similar to the 41st Street car wash when it comes to features, including free high-powered vacuums and prep towels. It also will include some of the new amenities such as compressed air tools and mat cleaners, which are also free with any wash purchase.

The plan is to begin construction this summer and open by the end of the year. It will bring Silverstar to 16 Midwest locations, all of which accept customers’ unlimited pass memberships.
