What brought you to Sioux Falls?
My parents were born and raised in South Dakota in a Hutterite colony, and after leaving, they started a life in Sioux Falls that I’ve always loved. I get city living with a small-town feel.
What keeps you in Sioux Falls?
The potential of growth. There is a lot of opportunity in Sioux Falls.
What’s your favorite thing about your job?
I have the ability to grow and learn with a business. My true passion is serving and educating people. At Premier Benefit Advisors, we pride ourselves in just that.
How did you get connected to your industry?
I was referred to by a friend. I love making connections, networking and sales. A friend saw potential in me and thought I would be a good fit for employee benefits. After a few months, a lot of thought and encouragement, I took the plunge!
Describe Premier Benefit Advisors in three words.
Educate, connect and customize.
What is something someone might be surprised to learn about you?
My first language is German, and I’m a lefty!
What’s your favorite way to give back to your community?
When I think of giving back, I think of supporting local businesses. I try to shop locally and promote local as much as I can. My boyfriend and I support the Downtown Burger Battle each year!
What’s one business you’d like to see in Sioux Falls that isn’t here now?
I love fashion, so I have to say, bring Abercrombie back! They have really stepped up their game. Also Trader Joe’s. Please?
Where do you see yourself in five years?
In five years, I hope to be living in my dream home, running a successful business.
