The most expensive residential sale for the week of July 11 was $2.1 million for a home with Cape Cod architecture on the south edge of Sioux Falls.

The 7,300-square-foot home has six bedrooms and five bathrooms. It was built in the Timber Oak Estates neighborhood in 2012. Features include a 16-foot ceiling with beams on the open main level and floor-to-ceiling windows. In the lower level, there’s a game room overlooking a movie room, wet bar and custom wine cellar and tasting room. The four-stall garage features a bonus room above. One year ago, it sold for $1.9 million.

A second home topped the million-dollar mark for the second time this year. The home in the east-side Copper Creek neighborhood sold for $1,245,000 after selling for $1,049,000 in mid-May. The 4,000-square-foot home was built this year by Hartung Homes and has six bedrooms and five bathrooms. Features include 8-foot windows, a screened-in deck and a four-stall garage.
