Annual Silverstar Haunted Car Wash takes Barbie-themed twist

The fans have spoken: Bring on Barbie.
For the first time, Silverstar Car Wash took a vote on the theme of its annual Haunted Car Wash, and pink prevailed.
“Of course, it’s still a haunted car wash, so we’re turning into a ‘Barbie Screamhouse’ for your trip through Silverstar this season,” vice president of operations Andrea Vetos said.
You can visit the Barbie Screamhouse car wash from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday through Monday at the Silverstar location at 57th Street and Marion Road.
Admission is $20 per car for Unlimited Wash Pass members and $25 per car for nonmembers.
“Thousands attend every year, allowing us to raise a significant donation for Feeding South Dakota,” Vetos said.
“Our team has a great time putting this together every year and can’t wait to show you the Barbie Screamhouse.”
Canned food donations for Feeding South Dakota also are welcome.
“This is such a good example of what we’re all about at Silverstar,” Vetos said. “We’re bringing something fun to our community, offering our team something different and engaging to work on and ultimately doing a lot of good giving back.”
