This winter will bring two new restaurants to the food court at The Empire Mall.

Tasty T will bring a “unique fusion of Korean street food and trendy desserts,” according to a statement from the mall.

The menu includes Korean corn dogs, mochi donuts, coffee and boba tea. It has locations in other malls, and this will be the first in South Dakota.

Tasty T plans to open in February in the vacant space that has been multiple pizza restaurants.

In early March, the mall confirmed El Burrito is still on track to open in the former Taco John’s space. It’s from the same owner as Stir Fry Express, which opened in the food court last year, and is a create-your-own Mexican concept featuring burritos, bowls, tacos and quesadillas.

Outside the mall, 7 Brew is under construction with its first location in Sioux Falls. The drive-thru coffee business is expected to open in March.
