Truly, every customer is a VIP at JJ’s – and is treated accordingly.
“Every time you shop, you get our VIP price, which is 20 percent off list price, and it does not require you to join our free membership program,” Slattery said.
Buy in bulk, or keep an eye on the calendar
Purchase any six wines or spirits and you’ll save 30 percent every day. On Monday, the same discount applies to a single bottle of wine, and on Wednesday, you’ll save 30 percent on a single bottle of spirits.
Join the JJ’s VIP Rewards program
It’s free to join the JJ’s VIP Rewards program, and there’s nothing to do but sign up and start adding up points. Once you earn enough points, these discounts are taken off the price per bottle.
“Plus, we offer sale items and other hot deals for members, along with a special discount on wine,” Slattery said. “Buy 24 in-stock bottles on Mondays and you’ll receive 40 percent off.”

With a bar inside of an adult-beverage store, “it offers certain benefits, even if you’re just shopping for goods to take home,” Slattery said.

The next free Wine Expo is from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in The Event Room at JJ’s, with an added element: You can help a family in need.
“We will be asking for freewill donations to help a family whose world was upended by a devastating fire,” Slattery said, adding that he and his wife, Jean, also are donating 10 percent of sales in JJ’s Bar that day to the cause.
