2 houses top $2M mark for weekly sales report

Two houses topped the $2 million mark for residential sales for the week of Feb. 2.
The No. 1 sale was $2.8 million for an executive home that sits along the bike path between Tuthill and Pasley parks.
The 6,400-square-foot home was built in 1999 on a 1-acre lot in the All Saints Hill on Crown Point neighborhood. It has five bedrooms and six bathrooms. Features include an indoor basketball court, sauna and sunroom with a fireplace.
The No. 2 sale was $2.3 million for an acreage north of Sioux Falls.
The property was purchased by the Sioux Falls Development Foundation and eventually will become part of the 200-acre site for the new Smithfield Foods plant. The 5,200-square-foot house was built in 1997 on 3 acres west of the Renner exit on Interstate 29. The home has four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The property includes 3,200- and 400-square-foot pole buildings.
A second home purchased by the Development Foundation also made the top 10 list.
