Aug. 1, 2023

The most expensive residential sale for the week of July 10 was $2 million for a home built in 1935 in the McKennan Park neighborhood.

The 4,800-square-foot home was designed by local architect Harold Spitznagel, founder of what is now TSP. The two-story home has four bedrooms and five bathrooms and sits on a half-acre lot. It has had only two previous owners and has been restored.

Three other homes topped the million-dollar mark.

Our weekly feature sorts through property transfer records in Minnehaha and Lincoln counties to find the 10 most expensive residential sales.

The property transfer information comes from the Minnehaha County Director of Equalization Office and the Lincoln County Register of Deeds Office. Addresses are for Sioux Falls unless noted.
