One residential property eclipsed all other home sales for 2025 in the Sioux Falls area.
The most expensive sale in Minnehaha and Lincoln counties was almost $6.8 million, with No. 2 coming in at almost $3 million.
The No. 1 sale was a new house in the Prairie Tree neighborhood in south Sioux Falls. The original house on the half-acre lot was purchased for $900,000 in 2022 and torn down to make room for the 8,500-square-foot house built by Skogen Inc. It has five bedrooms and five bathrooms.
The No. 2 house, which is in The Grand Prairie neighborhood along the southern part of Prairie Green Golf Course, has 10,500 square feet with six bedrooms and seven bathrooms. It was built in 2006.
The property transfer information comes from the Minnehaha County Director of Equalization Office and the Lincoln County Register of Deeds Office. Addresses are for Sioux Falls unless noted.
