This piece is presented by Vanguard Hospitality, owners of Grille 26, Minervas in downtown Sioux Falls and Morrie’s Steakhouse.

Whether you’re eating meatless for Lent or just a huge fan of seafood, we’ve got some can’t-miss options for the coming weeks.

If you haven’t been to the newly redesigned and renamed Morrie’s Steakhouse, you’re missing out. And if all you’ve tried so far is the amazing steak, venture into seafood with the pan-seared sea bass.

It comes with sweet pea puree, beats, black rice risotto and citrus beurre blanc.

You might think you’ve tried it all on Minervas menu, but Lent is a great season to sample the seafood risotto. With pan-seared jumbo scallops and shrimp, lobster and asparagus risotto, it’s accompanied by tomato, Parmesan cheese and fresh lemon.

Grille 26 debuts a feature this spring that’s perfect for Lenten diners. The pineapple mahi mahi salad includes a grilled mahi mahi filet, mixed green, oranges, strawberries, sliced almonds and pineapple vinaigrette.

Sticking with the salad, don’t forget a classic favorite at Minervas for a meatless option. The salmon asparagus salad includes spring-mix greens, charbroiled Atlantic salmon, fresh asparagus, artichoke hearts, roasted red peppers and sun-dried tomato ranch dressing.

If you’re out for lunch, Grille 26’s fish tacos are a must-try. Panko-crusted cod meets sweet-brined coleslaw, topped with pico de gallo and queso fresco.

Back at Morrie’s Steakhouse, the seared sea scallops are another can’t-miss meatless entree. The seafood is accompanied by thyme polenta cakes and sweet pea puree. Just hold the touch of ribeye in the sauce.
