Sign of hope found at Avera Heart Hospital
Sept. 11, 2019
Avera Heart Hospital is sharing a timely reminder of the faith rooted in its organization.
A chunk of tree thrown by the Sept. 10 EF-2 tornado through a lobby window included an image of a cross.
“A visible reminder that He is always with us,” the hospital posted on Facebook,
“Our windows may be broken, our building damaged, but even during the roar of the storm, God shows up.”
The hospital experienced damage to the lobby, and windows were broken. All patients are safe.
