Shop local for spring: 605 Made returns this Friday

May 6, 2021

The 605 Made Market is back with a new location for its annual spring sale.

The event on Friday, May 7, will turn the lobby of Shriver Square into a pop-up shop at 11th Street and Phillips Avenue.

It will be open for shopping from noon to 8 p.m. and be a stop on the Art & Wine Walk beginning at 5 p.m.

Sarah Dorn, who makes hand-stamped jewelry through her business Mama Peacock, will be creating her pieces live as the event’s featured artist for the Art & Wine Walk along with being one of the vendors.

605 Made is presented by Knotty Gnome Variety & Salvage and SiouxFalls.Business. It’s sponsored this year by The First National Bank in Sioux Falls and Dow Rummel Village.

The spring market will include makers who have become customer favorites with their merchandise at 605 Made events:

Knotty Gnome Variety & Salvage, Kyle and Stacy Wengler, paint kits, laser blocked signs, sewn goods, accessories, home decor, smaller steel yard stakes.

QT Caps, Sheena Sinkgraven, reusable water balloons and other crocheted items.

Quail Honey, Josilyn and Brian Ulvestad, honeys, lotions and lip balms.

Sew Doggy Boutique, Karli Raymond, collars, bandanas, bows and other pet accessories.

She’s Sew Crafty, Doni Rolfson, Mother’s and Father’s Day cards, photo boards, recipe boxes, celebration boxes, dishcloths and more.

Wildly Blessed, Angela Krueger, pompom wreaths, pom flower tins, blessing rings and more.

And, mark your calendars for the 605 Made Night Market on Aug. 28 in the parking lot of Cherapa Place and the 605 Made Holiday Market on Dec. 4 in the parking garage at Cherapa Place.
