Sanford announces leadership changes

Sept. 26, 2019

The president of Sanford Health’s Fargo region is returning to Sioux Falls.

Nate White will come back in what is being called “a corporate leadership role,” according to a statement from Sanford chief operating officer Matt Hocks.

Nate White

White joined Sanford Health in 2006 as associate general counsel and was appointed chief operating officer of the health services division in 2014. He assumed the role of president of the Fargo market in 2017.

“Nate has done an incredible job leading Fargo through a period of great change, with the opening of the new medical center and substantial growth of the Fargo market,” Hocks said.

Bryan Nermoe, current president of Sanford Bemidji, will become president of Sanford Fargo. Nermoe joined Sanford Health in 2008 and previously served as chief operating officer for Sanford Clinic’s Sioux Falls region and enterprise vice president of population health strategy.

Susan Jarvis, current vice president of operations for Sanford Fargo, is being promoted to president of Sanford Bemidji. She has been with Sanford Health since 2010, first serving as executive director of emergency, trauma and critical care services in Fargo before moving to vice president of operations in 2017.

The transitions will start immediately and are expected to completed over the next few months, Hocks said.
