If you’re hungry for cake but a full-size cake is too much, Oh My Cupcakes has created a solution: The Bento Cake. It’s a four-serving cake for $25. They’re available only at The Bridges location and designs change daily.

Fiero Pizza has several new creations featuring hot honey and extra hot honey. Sweetie Pie and The Cowboy have hot honey, and La Sabrosa, Flamma and Spicy Cowboy go to the next level. Customers also can request hot honey on any pizza.

Crooked Pint Ale House added several items to the menu recently. Here are some of the highlights. New wing flavors include Yum Yum, Blackened Dry Rub and Spicy Pickle. Other new shareables are Sloppy Joe Fries and Ale House Nachos. The Hot Hammie & Jammie Sammie has ham, bacon, Monterey jack cheese, bacon jam, romaine lettuce and mayo on a pretzel bun. Crooked Pint’s signature lucys have a new addition: the Sloppy Joe Lucy, which loads sloppy joe mix on top of an American cheese-stuffed burger.

Eight restaurants are competing in January’s Brandon Burger Battle: 212 The Boiling Point, Double D Saloon, The Gruff Plates & Pours, Kingbird Coffee and Tailgators Grill & Bar, all in Brandon; Bottoms Up in Corson; Grand Falls Casino & Golf Resort across the border in Iowa; and Chuds Pub & Grub in Larchwood, Iowa.  Find all the details at BrandonValleyChamber.com.

Sioux Falls Food Tours is offering a way to sample several restaurants in the Downtown Burger Battle every Saturday in January. The walking tours start at 1 p.m., and tickets are $85. There’s also a Burger Battle Beast ticket for $316 that will incorporate all four tours and a bonus free Sunday afternoon tour Jan. 28 that will be limited to six people. Marco’s Pizza has introduced the Pizzoli, which features pizza toppings rolled up in housemade dough and baked. The handheld item comes in four varieties: pepperoni, buffalo chicken, pepperoni and sausage, and chicken bacon ranch. Try one for an introductory price of $6.

Crack’d Pot Restaurant has a new Wednesday lunch special for January. Buy one salad bar at $12, and get the second for half-price. Diners will find the typical salad bar offerings along with pickled herring and four soups: vegetable beef, bean and ham, chicken noodle and soup of the day. Dine-in only from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Caribou Perks members have access to new Caribou Combos. Get a small coffee of the day and any bakery item for $5, a small hot or iced latte and any bakery item for $7 or a small hot or iced latte and any all-day breakfast item for $9.

Subway has a BOGO special on footlongs that’s available until Jan. 23 at participating restaurants. You’ll need to order through the app or online with the code FLBOGO.

Crave has added a special prix fixe menu for two for New Year’s Eve. Each person gets their choice of a special starter, entree and dessert. The pair gets to share hors d’oeuvres. The dinner for two is $130 and is available as early as 3 p.m. Make reservations on Open Table. As of Thursday afternoon, bookings were full after 4:30 p.m. until 8:45 p.m.

Prime rib returns to the menu on Thursdays in January at Chef Lance’s on Phillips.

Altered Species Ales is looking for chili cook-off contestants. Every Saturday in January, four contestants will face off in a blind tasting with customers doing the voting. Each week’s winner will advance to a final competition in February. Openings remain for Jan. 6, 20 or 27.

The Chief’s Bloody Mary Mix has received national accolades. The mix, which originated at Waddy’s Bar & Grill in Hudson, was one of seven to receive a double gold medal from The Fifty Best. The magazine, which reviews food and drink, held a “blind” tasting of 18 bloody mary mixes with seven members of its spirits judging panel. Caramel rolls and biscuits and gravy have returned to Zooks Coffee Bar in Tea. Get the rolls – with the option of pecans — Friday through Sunday. Biscuits and gravy is available Saturday and Sunday.

The new winter menu at Scooter’s Coffee has a new drink: Pistachio White Mocha. Returning favorites include Sea Salt Carmelicious, Raspberry Mocha, Red Velvet Cake Bites and Double Chocolate Muffin.

Here’s your last call to try the holiday menu at Perkins Restaurant & Bakery. Features include the Cinnamon Roll French Toast Platter, a Butterball turkey dinner with all the trimmings and Oreo Cookie Silk Pie. A new featured menu comes out Wednesday.

Fans of red velvet will like the holiday flavors at Cold Stone Creamery. Red Velvet Cake Batter ice cream is featured in two creations: the Berry Cozy Red Velvet and the Red Velvet Luxury.

Kim’s Korner Bar & Grill in Worthing is having a customer appreciation party from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Get happy hour specials all day and free hors d’oeuvres.
