The new Invictius Pizza Kitchen is offering a breakfast pizza pop-up. The locally owned restaurant will have three options from 7 to 10 a.m. Feb. 1. Customize your pizza with shredded cheese, scrambled eggs, breakfast meats, veggies and one of three sauces: cream cheese, jalapeno cheese sauce and sausage gravy. After seeing how the first pop-up goes, the restaurant might offer more dates.

Berrybrook Dairy Nook has started selling packaged pints of ice cream at Pomegranate Market and Sioux Falls Food Co+op. Sales kicked off with four flavors: chocolate, vanilla, cookie dough and poppyseed lemon. Offerings will change throughout the year. A few years ago, owners Sherilyn and Will Ortman started selling their ice cream at festivals, using some ingredients from their Freeman-area farm, Berrybrook Organics. Now with their recently USDA-approved creamery, they have expanded into retail sales.

Customers can order through Instacart for delivery or on Look’s website for pickup, with curbside service as an option. Online ordering for the restaurant should be returning soon, Larson said. It has been down because of a change in the point-of-sale system.

Sunny’s Pizzeria has added another brewery to its wholesale empire – its first in the Sioux City area. Jefferson Beer Supply, which opened a brewery and 18-tap taproom in Jefferson in 2022 is serving Sunny’s pizzas. They’re available in six varieties. “The growth that we’ve been experiencing selling wholesale pizzas over the past year has been a pleasant surprise,” Sunny’s owner Jon Oppold said in a news release. “It’s been fun to help out some really cool establishments that want to provide some sort of hot food but without the overhead of a full kitchen. I’ve known Nicki and Anthony for a year or two, and I love what they’ve established in the small town of Jefferson – it’s a ‘must stop’ location for us every time we head that way to go to Sioux City or Omaha. I’m confident that this will be a win-win partnership, and I’m super excited to have our pizza down in Jefferson and look forward to continued growth in the Sioux City metro.” Jefferson Beer Supply is now the sixth wholesale partner for Sunny’s.
