The First National Bank in Sioux Falls

The First National Bank in Sioux Falls has received a Disability Inclusion Partner award from Employment Disability Resources. The bank was one of 250 businesses named as partners for employing one or more individuals with a disability. First National was recognized for employing Landon Wagner in the operations department. He started at the bank in November 2023 through the Augie Access Program at Augustana University and became a full-time team member in March.

SDN Communications has promoted senior account executive Greg Robinson to West River – business development manager. Robinson, based out of SDN’s Rapid City office, has worked for the company since 2018.

Goodcents

The local Goodcents franchise received recognition recently from the restaurant chain for being the top performer of 65 locations in two categories. In 2023, it had the highest volume for delivery sales and the highest volume for catering. Owner Tim Fjellestad noted that the restaurant operates its own delivery service, using a third-party provider only when short-staffed.

Tourism Coalition of South Dakota

The Tourism Coalition of South Dakota has appointed Carmen Schramm as executive director. With more than 30 years of experience in tourism and marketing, Schramm is set to lead TCSD following its recent rebranding from the Visitor Industry Alliance. Her previous roles include executive director of the Yankton Area Chamber of Commerce and service with the South Dakota Department of Tourism.
