Medical spa to replace Caribou Coffee on 41st Street

Aug. 30. 2022

A medical spa has leased the space that Caribou Coffee recently vacated on West 41st Street.

The coffee chain has closed its location at 2404 W. 41st St., and Chapter Aesthetic Studio plans to move into the space.

Chapter Aesthetic Studio provides nonsurgical cosmetic treatments, including face and body care, laser services and injectables.

The business launched last year as a partnership between Aspen Dental Management Inc. and Rejuv Medical Aesthetic Clinic. It has locations in North Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa and New York.

Aspen Dental leases the space next to the future Chapter Aesthetic Studio.

“They’d been looking in the market for quite some time and were trying to find the perfect location in that corridor,” said Raquel Blount of Lloyd Cos., who served as the broker for the lease. “They’re very happy with that space for Aspen Dental, and it was a perfect fit.”

Chapter Aesthetic Studio plans to open next summer, she said.

While the 41st Street location closed, Caribou recently opened new locations in Sioux Falls including its chalet model at 2501 W. 12th St. and its cabin model at 1710 S. Highline Ave.

“We currently have nine coffeehouses in Sioux Falls. There are no immediate plans to open another location in the city but we’re always evaluating our options,” the coffee shop said in a statement.
