Walk into an abandoned haunted New York City subway station while Halloween shopping this season.

“Madison Scare Park” is this year’s theme at Spirit Halloween — featuring everything from a broken subway car to flickering lights and an animatronic rat.

The seasonal business once more is located at 1431 W. 41st St. in a retail center that includes At Home and Planet Fitness.

There’s a broad selection of costumes, accessories and decor.

Hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.

Halloween Express also has returned in the same location as last year: the Plaza 41 retail center at 2721 W. 41st St., which includes The Original Pancake House and Pizza Ranch.

The large space is filled with costumes for all ages in addition to props and accessories.

There’s an area behind the counter for higher-end masks.

The store includes dressing rooms for trying on costumes and also features a back area showing how large decorative items appear in the dark.

Hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
