Longtime shoe store opens at The Bridges at 57th

Oct. 4, 2024

Longtime retailer Shoe Diva has moved from The Empire Mall to The Bridges at 57th.

The shoe store, which includes some clothing and accessories, opened in its new location at 57th Street and Western Avenue to customers saying “what took you so long?” owner Karla Kuehl said.

“Reaction to the new store location has been so positive and complimentary,” she said.

Customers have commented on the light, bright feel to the store and how easy it is to find the location and see the merchandise, she said.

“I am thrilled with how the store feels and looks,” Kuehl said. “I believe it is even better than I envisioned. We always want to have a great presentation because the level and quality of the product that we carry warrants it.”

Brands carried include Birkenstock, UGG and several European footwear lines, including AS98, Mia Moon and others. The store also carries clothing and socks by UGG as well as the brand’s infant booties.

“What is beautiful is my established customers are coming in day after day. What is even more beautiful is that new customers and ones that do not shop the mall are already finding us,” Kuehl said.

“The neighboring stores here have been so welcoming and have thanked us for joining them at The Bridges. I believe that makes for a very positive shopping community, with a marketing team for events and a great shopping destination for locals and those in neighboring communities.”

The store is in the former Supplement Warehouse space near Sport Clips and 605 Running Co.

Hours are 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. weekdays, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday.

An opening celebration has included contests and giveaways and will continue Saturday along with the broader Fall Fest at The Bridges event.
