Lawrence & Schiller opens expanded Twin Cities office
July 3, 2024
Growth in the Twin Cities market has led Sioux Falls-based Lawrence & Schiller to expand and relocate the office it has had there for six years.
The new office is in the Highlight Center in the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District. The former L&S Minnesota was in a corporate center in Edina.
“As we continue to grow our work in Minnesota and across the Midwest, this new office space will allow us to serve our clients and employees even better,” said Laura Mitchell, vice president of marketing.
“Since opening an office in the Twin Cities six years ago, we’ve expanded our client roster and our Minnesota-based employees, and this new location in Minneapolis will provide ample space for our employees to work, meet and collaborate. We look forward to continuing to grow our presence in Minnesota and beyond.”
The office space is three times the size of the previous L&S space and designed as an open concept with a lot of natural light. The building originally was a light bulb factory and retains natural timber, hardwood floors and freight elevators.
The L&S office includes a mix of eclectic design accents, spaces for brainstorming and areas for virtual calls and large group meetings.
In addition to being a permanent office for four Minnesota-based employees, L&S Minneapolis also serves as a flexible workspace for other team members when they’re in Minnesota and a meeting place for Twin Cities clients. Area clients include the city of Duluth, Southwest Minnesota State University, Pizza Ranch, Bluepeak, Verde Technologies and C&B Operations, as well as several strategic and creative partners.
The Minneapolis team is supplemented by more than 60 team members based in Sioux Falls.
