Jersey Mike’s Subs plans to open its first Sioux Falls location Oct. 30 – but first it needs more workers.

The restaurant on the northeast corner of 57th Street and Louise Avenue will hold a hiring event from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday. Walk-in applicants are welcome, or you can register here.

Franchisee Andrew Ticknor decided to bring Jersey Mike’s to Sioux Falls after enjoying it in other cities.

The restaurant sells hot and cold subs and wraps, chips and desserts. Its signature sauce is a blend of red wine vinegar and olive oil. There are more than 1,500 locations nationwide.
