In the wake of the WannaCry cyberattack on business data, SDN Communications is hosting free seminars to help companies.

SDN will cover  preventative steps and cybertools businesses can use to make sure they keep data safe.

The first event will be May 23 at the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown, 201 E. Eighth St. Registration is limited to 75 people at https://PowerOfNetwork.eventbrite.com.

A second event will be May 25 in Sioux City at the Hilton Garden Inn Riverfront. FiberComm is co-hosting. Registration is limited to 50 people at https://PowerOfNetwork-IA.eventbrite.com.

Both programs will follow the same format:
7:30 a.m. – Registration and breakfast.
8 a.m. – Program, cybersecurity panel and door prizes.
9:30 a.m. – Program concludes, and industry experts will be on hand to answer questions.

The seminars will talk specifically about the international WannaCry cyberattack but also include information on SDN’s new localized Cyber Threat Landscape Report, with data specific to the kind of attacks regional businesses are seeing on SDN Communications’ network.
