National Halloween retailers have opened their stores for the next couple of months, including one in a new location.

Spirit Halloween is open at 1431 W. 41st St., which used to be a Fareway location.

The store features a carnival-inspired theme of Halloween displays in the center.

There’s also a broad selection of costumes, accessories and decor.

Hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.

Halloween Express is in the Plaza 41 retail center at 2721 W. 41st St. next to Pizza Ranch.

It’s one space north of where it was last year.

The new space offers more room for costumes for all ages, accessories and decor.

There’s a space behind the counter for higher-end masks.

The store includes dressing rooms for trying on costumes and also features a back area showing how large decorative items appear in the dark.

Hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
