Dragon’s Den now offers alcoholic beverages during gaming tournaments for adult players.

The business, which has been in operation since 1996, has a license for malt beverages and farm wines. It carries a small selection of beers, said general manager Aaron Quarrella.

Located at 7218 W. 41st St., Dragon’s Den offers any game that’s analog.

“If it doesn’t require a plug-in or controller, we have it,” Quarrella said.

Currently, the most popular game among players is Magic: The Gathering. The tabletop and digital collectible card game was invented in 1993. Two or more players can compete either in person with printed cards or on a computer, smartphone or tablet with virtual cards through internet-based software.

Dragon’s Den is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
