Odds are if you’ve spent much time at all in Sioux Falls, you’ve washed your vehicle at 41st Street and Grange Avenue.

Now, that experience is more seamless than ever, as Silverstar Car Wash has reopened its fully renovated location there.

“This is a great, centrally located spot that has been a car wash for almost 30 years. We wanted to modernize the site and give it the update it deserved,” regional manager Andrea Vetos said.

“On the exterior, we gave it a face-lift and a new parking lot flow that makes the site seem twice as big. In the wash tunnel, we utilized the existing space to install all-new, high-quality wash equipment that results in a really clean, dry car.”

What’s changed

This was a full remodel, inside and out.

That involved flipping the tunnel around, meaning customers now enter on the side closest to 41st Street and exit toward Costco.

“Because of that, we were also able to reconfigure the parking lot and site layout to maximize the space for 10 vacuum spots and our ‘mat cleaning room,’ where we have two different styles of mat cleaner machines,” Vetos said.

The new additions

This Silverstar location has everything you’ve come to expect at Silverstar, as well as all its latest and greatest tools for making your vehicle shine.

That means you’ll find the free high-powered vacuums and free prep towels Silverstar has offered for years, as well as the newer free services that have been rolling out: compressed air tools to use while at the vacuum stations and awesome mat cleaners.

“In our mat cleaning room, we have two different styles of mat cleaners. The first mat cleaner machine can be used to remove deep debris from your floor mats that builds up over time. The second machine, a mat shampooer, does a deep spray and scrub. Using both machines together will leave your mats looking brand-new,” Vetos said.
