Frontier to add direct flight to Orlando
July 27, 2021
Frontier Airlines is adding a direct flight to Orlando from the Sioux Falls Regional Airport.
Today’s announcement comes less than a week after the low-fare carrier said it would be starting a direct flight from Sioux Falls to Las Vegas.
The route to the Orlando International Airport will begin Nov. 1 with service on Mondays and Fridays.
To kick off the service, Frontier is offering one-way fares starting at $59 for flights through Feb. 9, with blackout dates around holidays.
Out of Sioux Falls, the airline also offers flights to Denver three times a week.
The Denver-based airline announced 20 new nonstop flights today, including several international destinations: Antigua and Barbuda; Belize City; Liberia, Costa Rica; and Turks and Caicos.
“Today’s announcement marks one of our largest international expansions ever, and we are thrilled to now offer our customers affordable service to four more popular destinations offering both sun and fun,” said Daniel Shurz, Frontier’s senior vice president of commercial. “Summer 2021 has led to phenomenal growth for Frontier, and this announcement of 20 new routes comes on the heels of 21 that we unveiled just last week.”
