Obscure Brewing Company will close later this month.

The brewery at 5200 E. Grant St., a block north of East Arrowhead Parkway along Foss Avenue, announced Dec. 28 will be its last day.

Co-ownerDon Choate opened it in 2019.

“Thank you for all your support over the years—it has meant the world to me. I’ll share more about this decision at a later time,” he said in a statement.

The brewery offered its beer on tap within the building along with a small menu.
