East-side boutique seeks new owner

May 23, 2023

This paid piece is sponsored by Dawley Farm Village.

Mainstream Boutique is looking for a new franchisee for its east-side store.

Rachel Cinco purchase the franchise in mid-2020. It’s located in a retail center at Dawley Farm Village that includes Kay Jewelers and Cellar 54.

Life changes are driving the sale, Cinco said. She got married last year; her mother, who helped run the store, is retiring; and one of their team members is getting married and moving.

Cinco said she’s hoping to find “someone who has a passion for fashion and people in the community. Mainstream really focuses on customer relationships, and each location is unique in its own way.”

At one point, Mainstream Boutique had two Sioux Falls locations, but the Dawley Farms store is the only one currently operating.

“The store is foot-traffic-driven, as many people still want to come in, try on and get to know you,” Cinco said. “It is great that Dawley Farms has continued to grow and add other businesses to attract more and more to the east side.”

Mainstream Boutique plans to continue operating as usual until a new owner is found.

“This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to own a boutique because of the support of a franchise behind them,” Cinco said. “The company helps in any way to make your Mainstream succeed.”
