Anthropologie will open Nov. 17 at The Empire Mall.

The store will be the retailer’s first in South Dakota and will be located in the JCPenney wing in part of the former Gap space.

Anthropologie describes itself as a lifestyle brand specializing in women’s apparel, accessories, intimates, beauty products, home furniture and decor.

“Our No. 1 goal is to make sure that every individual that enters our store has an unforgettable experience,” district brand leader Melissa Leske said.

“Our store in Sioux Falls was designed with special finishes and touches throughout that are sure to make any guest feel welcome.”

The store is hiring for full- and part-time positions. A job fair will be held Oct. 21 in front of the future store from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with no appointment needed. Click here to learn more and apply.

Anthropologie has experienced Sioux Falls customers traveling as far as Kansas City, Winnipeg and the Twin Cities to shop there, Leske said.

“We are thrilled to join the community in Sioux Falls and bring our store experience to so many who travel outside of their state to enjoy the Anthropologie experience,” she said.
