March 31, 2026
The most expensive residential sale for the week of March 9 was $2.6 million for a custom-built house that was part of the fall Parade of Homes.
Oakland Homes built the zero-entry ranch walkout house in 2025 in The Sanctuary development on the eastern edge of the Sioux Falls city limits, overlooking the Big Sioux River valley. The 5,000-square-foot house has five bedrooms and five bathrooms. Features include 10-foot ceilings throughout, a chef’s kitchen, a screened-in covered deck and a covered courtyard area at the front of the house with a gated entrance. The extra-deep four-stall garage is heated and includes a dog-washing station. The backyard has two paver patios.
Our weekly feature sorts through property transfer records in Minnehaha and Lincoln counties to find the 10 most expensive residential sales.
The property transfer information comes from the Minnehaha County Director of Equalization Office and the Lincoln County Register of Deeds Office. Addresses are in Sioux Falls unless noted.
