Crawford’s sells to new owners after decade in business

June 23, 2021

There are new owners for Crawford’s in downtown Sioux Falls.

After a decade in business, David and Tonya Graham sold the business to the Ode family of Brandon.

In a post on Facebook, the Grahams called it a bittersweet decision that will allow them to spend more time as a family and focus on new adventures.

“It was just over 10 years ago that you welcomed us into the downtown community with open arms. With your support and our dedicated staff, we’ve worked hard to make Crawford’s a staple in Sioux Falls and believe it will continue to be for many years to come,” they said.

“You are more than customers to us; you are our friends. We have celebrated, laughed and created lifelong friendships with so many of you. The relationships we have made are priceless, and we look forward to seeing you all again.”

The Odes own OdeCo, which does commercial and residential construction, and have ownership in Double D Saloon.

They were interested in expanding and diversifying, including in Sioux Falls, and enjoyed Crawford’s as customers.

They will keep the Crawford’s name and anticipate some small menu adjustments but nothing major, said Paul Ode, who owns it with his four brothers.

“We bought it with the assumption that it’s working great. We liked it so we’ll just keep it going,” he said.
