A south-side Starbucks has moved into its larger home.

The coffee shop in a small retail center at 4808 S. Western Ave. relocated last week to a new stand-alone building at 2225 W. 57th St.

In addition to more seating, the new location offers a bigger parking lot and more spacious drive-thru.

A long, two-sided banquette fills the seating area, with a row of tables for two along one wall of windows.

Outside, there’s an expansive patio that will be filled with furniture once the warm days for sitting in fresh air return.

For those who order online or through the app and want to walk in the store to pick up their order, there are several designated parking spots next to the entry door and a pickup spot at the end of the counter.

Hours are 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays and 5:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the weekend.
