Name: Kimberly Munoz

Age: 27

Hometown: Sioux Falls

What brought you to Sioux Falls?

My parents moved here from Guatemala for work.

What keeps you in Sioux Falls?

The community. Everyone really cares about making Sioux Falls a great place to live, and this is evident through all the local businesses and our city leaders.

What’s your favorite thing about your job?

The ability to motivate and coach my team to their highest potential, as well as having the opportunity to establish relationships with customers via their financial goals.

How did you get connected to your industry?

I was in school at the time and heard about the flexibility as well as the scholarship opportunities that Premier provides to its employees.

Describe First Premier Bank in three words.

Leader. Dedicated. Involved.

What is something someone might be surprised to learn about you?

I’m a fraternal twin!

What’s your favorite way to give back to your community?

Volunteering. I volunteer through multiple organizations now; one I am most proud of is mentoring through Lutheran Social Services.

What’s one business you’d like to see in Sioux Falls that isn’t here now?

I wish we could have Banana Republic back.

Where do you see yourself in five years?

Expanding my knowledge in all things finance, expanding my career to be the best I can be for my team, and lastly continuing my volunteer work.
