Bank president shoots valuable hole in one at The Country Club

From staff reports

First Dakota National Bank’s Pro Am Jam is known for its big-name concerts and large golf tournament.

But the bank’s Sioux Falls president, Mike Ness, likely will remember this year’s event for a different reason.

Starting in 2016, First Dakota partnered with SDN Communications for the SDN Uptime Challenge. The challenge, benefiting The First Tee of South Dakota, gives golfers the opportunity to win $50,000 on Friday and $100,000 on Saturday for a hole-in-one on Hole 12.

And that’s what Ness accomplished Aug. 12, scoring a hole-in-one on Hole 12 at The Country Club of Sioux Falls and walking away with $100,000.

Here’s a look at his reaction.
