AmericInn is planning to build a hotel between the Sanford Sports Complex and the Denny Sanford Premier Center.

A city permit shows a four-story hotel planned at 3300 W. Russell St.

That’s on a vacant piece of land on the southeast corner of Maple and Russell streets where G&D Viking Glass is also building a new warehouse, office and shop.

The hotel will be owned by Triple Crown Hospitality Inc., and the permit is for $3.15 million.

AmericInn also has a hotel in Sioux Falls at 3508 S. Gateway Blvd.
