What brought you to Sioux Falls?
I was born and raised in Sioux Falls. After attending the University of South Dakota, I realized everything I wanted to do professionally was right here in my hometown.
What keeps you in Sioux Falls?
My family, friends and the tight-knit community is what keeps me around. With growing opportunities, activities and events, there is no place I would rather be. Sioux Falls has done so much to liven up the downtown scene and become an attractive place to start a career and family.
What’s your favorite thing about your job?
I love how every day is different and presents its own challenges. MMA’s location is a huge perk. Being downtown allows me to see the beauty of Sioux Falls every day.
How did you get connected to your industry?
I always knew I wanted to help people, and an agency like MMA is a great place to start. I knew my role would allow me to help make a difference in my internal community and external community, making life easier for those around me.
Describe MarshMcLennan Agency in three words.
Culture, community, collaborative.
What’s your favorite way to give back to your community?
I love to volunteer and aid nonprofits with my communication and graphic skills. I lend my time to various nonprofits, including Live Like Cat and Lost & Found.
What’s one business you’d like to see in Sioux Falls that isn’t here now?
I would love to see a Trader Joe’s!
Where do you see yourself in five years?
I see myself living in Sioux Falls and continuing to grow in my roles at MMA. With a collaborative team and my willingness to learn, I envision success at whatever level that may be at MMA.
